Barry is a well known grower, exhibitor, lecturer and judge.
He is Vice Chairman of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Fruit, Vegetable and Herb Committee and a former Chairman of the National Vegetable Society. Barry is also a committed allotmenteer.

Wedding and Events Fayre

Wedding and Events Fayre - SUNDAY 15th March 2020 10 am till 4 pm

My Special Event and The Vintage Tea Birds are hosting their very own Wedding and Events Fayre. On Sunday 15th March 2020, they have invited suppliers from the Wedding and Events Industry to come along and offer advice to potential new clients. It is an opportunity for guests to discuss their requirements, find out what is available and to support local businesses.

Mystery Warrior: The North Bersted Man

Mystery Warrior: The North Bersted Man exhibition will be the first time that this extraordinary Iron Age Warrior and his burial possessions will be on public display. The exhibition will explore the life, health, and death of this fascinating man. It will attempt to explain some of the questions that have been raised by the circumstances of his burial.

Felpham Beach Cleans

Would you like to help maintain our beautiful and well used beach? The Felpham Village Conservation Society is organising regular Felpham beach cleans which will be held every second Saturday of the month. We meet outside the sailing club at 10.30 am and all are welcome – members and non-members. You will be provided with bin bags and litter pickers, although you may want to bring your own gloves. Our thanks also goes to the Lobster Pot who have kindly agreed to offer a free cup of tea or coffee to volunteers after their hard work.

Bognor Old Town Artisan Markets

27th April, 20th July, 14th September, 23rd November 2019
The first market took place on 12th September 2015. It bought together local Artisan’s offering crafts, jewellery, food products, clothing and music was available to entertain visitors. Up until 2016 the market was held three times a year. In 2017 the first Christmas market was added to the line-up. It was a resounding success and now we have four markets a year April, July, September and our very popular Christmas market in November.
