Chichester Area Talking News

Every fortnight, Chichester Area Talking News (CATN) produces an hour of local news on memory stick and CD for blind and partially sighted people in the Chichester, Bognor Regis, Midhurst and Petworth areas. That is to say - the areas covered by the three editions of the local Observer newspaper - from the coastal towns and villages as far north to Haslemere, east to Elmer and west to Emsworth.

Westmeads Duplicate Bridge Group

Westmeads Duplicate Bridge Group meets every Thursday afternoon at Westmead's Hall.
We are a friendly group, there is no annual fee, just £2.50p per session charged.
The starting time is 1.15pm for 1.30pm start. Please ring if you require a partner.
The session ends between 4.30 to 5.00pm.

Felpham Village Conservation Society

The Village Conservation Society was formed over 30 years ago in 1980. In 1985 it was instrumental in the creation of the Felpham Conservation Area. Today the Society is flourishing and exists to conserve the historical, cultural and aesthetic significance of our built and natural environment. We are nonpolitical and inclusive, having an open membership to every householder living within the Parish and those from without who use and value our facilities and environment.

Bognor Regis Zen Judo Club

Zen Judo, 6yrs to Adult, Beginners welcome.
The Zen Judo syllabus is based upon traditional martial arts training where the focus is on mastering technique rather than focusing upon competition.

Fun and Breaks

The Fun and Breaks (FAB) service is run by West Sussex County Council to help encourage social activities and promote new experiences and independence for disabled children and give families the chance to take a break.
Could you volunteer 2 hours a week to support a child with disabilities? This could include taking the child to activities such as swimming, the beach, bowling, for a walk, or staying at home and trying something new like baking, computer games, or arts and crafts.
Training and support is given and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Yapton Village WI

Yapton Village WI meets at 10.00am on the third Tuesday of every month (except August), at Yapton Village Hall. We usually have a speaker, but there is always time to chat over a cuppa and a biscuit. We have a raffle, and a bring-and-buy sales table. We also have two walking groups (for the fit and not so fit), a craft group and an entertainment group. So if you are looking to meet new people and friends, then we would love to see you. There is no age limit, and you do not have to be retired to join the WI. Aldingbourne Bowls Club

We are now in our 25th. year of bowling on our all weather surface.
We are able to play 24hrs a day (floodlighting available ) 7days a week 52 weeks a year.
In the winter months Short Mat bowls are played in our pavilion.
We have ladies and men's league teams and mixed friendly teams playing matches throughout the bowling season,also a number of internal club competitions.
Our club is situated off the A29 at Oliver's Meadow, Westergate. Free Parking is available.
