Debbie Patching, Frame of Mind CIC, Runs The London Marathon 2018

Debbie is a member of the Frame of Mind CIC team and has enjoyed running for a while. She is a member of the Tone Zone runners club and regularly takes part in running races across the country. She really enjoys competing and three years ago Debbie ran the Brighton marathon and was struck with disaster at mile seven when she hurt her hip, which was later confirmed as broken. "Will I be able to run again?" was her first question. The consultant said yes, just don't go running any more Marathons! So the following year she went back and completed the Brighton Marathon.
To run the London Marathon had always been on her bucket list, she had planned to run it with her running buddy, Nicki. Nicki was selected to run the marathon last year and unfortunately Debbie was not. This year Debbie was unsuccessful in the public ballot, however her running club are allocated two places for the marathon and this is decided by ballot and in a twist of fate her friend Nicki picked her name out of the hat. Debbie decided that she would like to run the London Marathon 2018 for Frame of Mind CIC.
